Evelyn Li is an associate in the firm’s Corporate practice group. She advises public and private companies, as well as investment banks and institutional investors, on a broad range of corporate and securities matters. Evelyn’s practice focuses on capital markets transactions. She has significant experience in public and private corporate finance transactions, including IPOs, shelf registrations, follow-on public offerings, PIPEs, secondary offerings and other transactions. She also advises on corporate governance and compliance matters for public companies, including ’34 Act reporting, compliance with listing standards of the NYSE and Nasdaq and requirements of FINRA. Evelyn has represented various Asia-based companies and has cross-border transactional experience across the US and Asia.
Prior to joining the firm, Evelyn was an associate attorney at a leading securities law firm headquartered in New York. She also practiced at the Shanghai offices of two Am Law 100 US law firms, where she primarily advised on Hong Kong IPOs as US counsel, and at a full-service first-tier Chinese law firm headquartered in Beijing, where she focused on cross-border mergers and acquisitions and PE/VC investments.
Evelyn has represented corporate clients across multiple industries, including technology, artificial intelligence, robotics, life sciences, healthcare, entertainment, energy and retail. She has also represented leading investment banks, venture capital funds and other institutional investors.
