Stephanie Pisko helps clients address commercial litigation and creditor rights matters.
Representing clients in both state and federal court proceedings, Stephanie handles all aspects of litigation from discovery to appeal. She litigates in a broad range of areas involving complex contract disputes, secured transactions, loan defaults, fiduciary disputes, commercial tenancies, real property, and appellate litigation.
Stephanie’s prior experience as a law clerk in state and federal court enhances her ability to find practical solutions to complex issues and assist clients with their diverse needs covering varied practice areas. Additionally, Stephanie has high-level experience in public government, having recently returned to the firm after serving as Chief of Staff to Scranton Mayor Paige G. Cognetti. In that role, she managed city personnel, provided counsel to the administration, and helped oversee operations of a $115 million budget.
Active in the firm’s pro bono practice, Stephanie focuses on representing tenants in landlord-tenant disputes. She has experience in eviction proceedings and Marini hearings and has represented clients in the Newark community.
At Seton Hall University School of Law, she received the graduation award for excellence in leadership and scholarship. She has also been published in several law reviews, including The University of Michigan Journal of Gender and Drexel University Law Review.
