Tania is an experienced litigator, with a focus on complex commercial litigation, international arbitration and white collar crime. She advises clients across a range of industries including the real estate, financial institutions, energy, transportation, technology, and media sectors. Tania represents clients in high-stakes state and federal litigation, at both the trial and appellate levels, as well as before arbitral tribunals in international disputes. She has particular experience in corporate compliance, having conducted several internal company investigations related to alleged Foreign Corrupt Practices Act violations, healthcare fraud, and employee misconduct.
Tania has built an extensive network and is a recognized thought leader, having lectured at conferences in Latin America regarding international arbitration and business issues, published legal articles related to immigration and eDiscovery, and has taught numerous executive training and compliance workshops.
Tania is also a dedicated policy advocate who works at the crossroads of business and government to help clients achieve their most critical objectives. She offers clients strategic advice that combines her extensive knowledge of policy, process, and key players in federal, state, and local politics. She has worked on various political campaigns, advising on strategy, messaging, and election law. Prior to joining McCarter, Tania practiced at various AmLaw100 firms.
Tania is passionate about diversity and inclusion efforts, particularly issues impacting women and the Hispanic communities. She is actively involved in several initiatives to help them gain a stronger voice in the political process in South Florida.
