Brian is a patent litigator in the Intellectual Property/Information Technology Group.  Brian has litigated patent cases in courts across the country representing clients in such diverse fields as specialty chemicals, life sciences, personal care, computers, mechanical devices, pharmaceuticals and consumer products.  His clients range from multinational corporations to small local companies.  

Brian routinely counsels clients regarding their freedom to operate as well as overall patent and trade secret strategies.  Brian is also licensed to practice in the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Brian was a research scientist for the United States Navy.  His research focused on acoustics and laser vibrometry.
