Dan has diverse experience in civil litigation involving product liability claims, patent litigation (including Hatch-Waxman infringement matters), patent-related antitrust claims, as well as complex contract and commercial matters. His practice includes the representation of individuals, businesses and corporations across a range of industries at every level of state and federal courts in Delaware and around the country.
Dan’s life sciences experience includes serving on the trial teams for major multinational pharmaceutical companies in jury trials in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas and the Delaware Superior Court. He also served as a member of national litigation teams representing pharmaceutical and medical device companies in MDL and parallel state court proceedings, where Dan is involved in all facets of the litigations, from developing and coordinating trial strategy to administering global settlements and everything in between.
In his contract, commercial and corporate litigation practice, Dan routinely appears in the Delaware Court of Chancery as well as the Delaware Superior Court representing clients in commercial and contractual litigation.
As a believer in giving back to our communities, Dan is a member of the Firm’s Pro Bono Committee and maintains an active pro bono practice including the representation of pro bono clients at immigration detention centers, before the Delaware Family Court and in §1983 prisoner’s rights cases before the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware.
