David represents businesses seeking to recover under their insurance policies. For more than fifteen years, he has counseled policyholders from first notification to insurers through final resolution of coverage claims to maximize recoveries. As part of his practice, he regularly litigates complex insurance coverage disputes in state and federal courts nationwide.
David’s experience extends across all types of business coverages, including commercial liability, first-party property, business interruption, directors and officers, errors and omissions, professional liability, cyber, and product recall policies. His clients operate across a wide spectrum of industries, such as consumer and industrial products, construction, building materials, cosmetics, food, confections, property management, banks, and industrial technology.
David handles a wide variety of coverage claims. He has litigated and resolved numerous long-tail claims for mass torts, such as asbestos, silica, and talc. He regularly assists national homebuilders in connection with additional insured claims for alleged bodily injury and property damage at construction sites.
David is committed to public service. After serving an initial three year elected term on the Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District Board of Education from 2020 through 2022, he won re-election and currently serves a second term. For 2023, his follow members chose him as Vice President. From 2016 through 2018, he served a three year term as an elected member of the Township Committee in Manalapan. He also previously served as an appointed member of Manalapan’s Planning Board and Environmental Commission.
David also routinely engages in pro bono work. Through the ReLeSe program conducted by Volunteer Lawyers for Justice, he has successfully expunged criminal records for numerous individuals seeking employment. He also helped secure political asylum in the New York City Immigration Court for refugees fleeing persecution in their home country.
