Sarah is well versed in Delaware law and represents clients in a wide range of corporate and commercial disputes in the state. Her practice includes matters of fiduciary duties, breach of contract, fraud, corporate information rights, advancement and indemnification, corporate governance and control, statutory appraisal, and other commercial disputes.
Sarah primarily practices in the Delaware Court of Chancery, though she has significant experience in the Delaware Superior Court and in the District of Delaware. Sarah has experience across all stages of litigation, including arguing motions; preparing corporate directors and executives for depositions and trial testimony in high stakes litigation matters; conducting and defending depositions; overseeing collection and production of electronic discovery; managing experts and drafting pleadings, discovery requests, briefs, motions and settlement papers on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants in commercial and corporate litigation.
Prior to joining private practice, Sarah was a legal intern at the United States Securities and Exchange Commission where she assisted investigations as well as researched and prepared memoranda. During law school at the University of Virginia, Sarah was the recipient of the Bracewell & Giuliani Best Oral Argument award.
